  • You will gain knowledge and skills in managing finances of public entities and non-governmental organizations. In the course of studies we will analyze issues divided into four areas of financial management: financial planning, raising finance, expenditure and financial controlling.

    We will discuss the issues of finance management in government and self-government sector entities as well as related entities: Treasury companies, loan and guarantee funds, foundations and associations. Classes will be taught by Cracow University of Economics staff and specialists dealing with public finance management on a daily basis.

    Why is it important and attractive?

    Public sector expenditure in Poland accounts for over 40% of GDP. This ratio clearly indicates how vital it is to manage effectively finance of public entities. Because of this public sector in Poland constantly needs competent and ethical employees.

    It is also worth paying attention to the non-governmental organizations sector, with its growing significance, as they increasingly substitute public institutions in providing public services for the society. The growing number of such organizations and huge demand for experts in finance management make people possessing such qualifications an attractive goal on the labor market.
