    Nationwide urban development workshop

This nationwide workshop has recently gained international recognition. We organize it every year in the middle of May. It starts with presentations introducing the issues in a particular edition, during which we explain economic, spatial and social issues.
Then participants prepare for the workshop and develop their individual concepts for the development of a particular area in Cracow.
The topic for each edition of the workshop is divided into multi-aspect issues presented to participants in form of three tasks to be solved by them. Participants are divided into groups, each consisting of an interdisciplinary team usually composed of: architects, landscape planners, urban development specialists, geographers and sociologists.
On the last day of the workshop groups present the results of their work to enable us to choose three best proposals of changes related to the topic of the workshop, and deserving the award.
We hosted students from many scientific centers and cities in Europe, for example from Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Katowice, Łódź or Rzeszów, as well as from France, Switzerland, Portugal and China.
