  • Foreign candidates who hold the above mentioned degrees from outside of Poland may apply for Master’s programmes only if their diploma has been legalised and entitles to apply for Master’s programmes in the country of issue.

In order to verify it is necessary to send the following documents to our Teaching Department (studiainfo@uek.krakow.pl):

    • a copy of the diploma and
    • transcript of records translated into Polish.

Admission to full-time Master’s programme is possible in two ways:

    • Recruitment based on Grade Point Average (GPA) – only for CUE’ alumni of Bachelor’s programmes of current academic year applying for Master’s programmes, in the same field as completed Bachelor’s studies.

50% of the overall limit set by the Senate for the current academic year will be filled by our graduates, based on the GPA achieved during the first five semesters of a six-semesters programme or the first six semesters of a seven-semesters programme.

    • Recruitment based on entry exam results

For candidates who were not accepted on the basis of GPA and  for alumni of different universities/higher education institutions.

    • Public Economy and Administration: examination in economics or public administration.

Applicants may choose – apart from the selected major programme – an optional programme. Because of the fact that some major programmes require an examination in different areas, the candidates who choose an optional programme will have to take an examination in the relevant subjects.

The entrance examination for full-time Master’s programmes is held in the beginning of July each year. After the entrance examination the list of admitted candidates will be announced, and admission will be conditioned by submission of the university programme diploma or, possibly, a certificate of the diploma defence examination along with the other required documents.

The candidates not admitted due to the lack of places constitute a reserve list. New places are offered if the admitted candidates do not confirm their participation in university progammes in due time.
