  • The Bachelor’s programme (BA) lasts six  semesters and leads to the professional title of “licencjat”. This is the Polish equivalent of the Bachelor’s degree. To obtain this degree, students need to prepare and defend their Bachelor’s theses.

    The non-nationals who do not posses any documents that would entitle them to apply for admission according to the rules applicable to Polish nationals may enroll in programmes and follow education on the basis of the CUE Rector’s decision:

    • on a fee-paying basis, or
    • without a fee and scholarship benefits, or
    • as holders of scholarships awarded by the sending party, without paying tuition fees, or
    • as holders of scholarships awarded by higher education institution.

    The non-nationals who posses a residence permit with an annotation “access to labour market”, Schengen visas or national visas for work in the territory of Poland can enroll in a programme and follow education at CUE only on a fee-payment basis.

     

    Admission

    Enrollment for the Bachelor’s degree programmes is carried out on the basis of secondary school-leaving exam certificate or other document obtained abroad entitling to apply for admission to studies at universities of all kinds in the country in whose system the institution granting the certificate operates.

    Admission is based on the decision of the CUE’s Rector on the basis of the submitted documents IN THE ORIGINAL.

    Please note that the launching of the programme is conditioned by an appropriate number of candidates.

    If a country in which a given document was issued is a party to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents, concluded in The Hague, the document’s legalisation is replaced by an Apostille certificate attached to it.

    If a country in which a given document was issued is not a party to the aforementioned Convention, the document’s legalisation remains the responsibility of a Polish consular office in that country. Depending on the type of a document, Polish consular offices will use one of the three categories of legalisation clauses: full legalisation, standard legalisation, authentication.

    Prepared by a certified translator entered in the list of translators by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland or certified by a consul of the Republic of Poland in office in the country where the document was issued;

    Confirming the equivalence of the foreign certificate with the Polish secondary school-leaving certificate. If you don’t possess any of the above mentioned documents is obliged to make an official recognition (“nostryfikacja”) of your secondary-school certificate. The recognition is done by the Board of Education, more information you will find here.

    Please be aware that recognition of academic qualification process takes about 3 months, therefore if you are sure you want to apply for the studies, you should start completing all the documents at least 3 months before the deadline.

    Language certicifates

    Foreigners applying for admission to studies held in English submit a document confirming the sufficient knowledge of English.

    All students enrolled in the studies held in English at a Bachelor’s and Master’s level are liable to payment of tuition fees.

    Fees applicable to foreign students

    Bachelor’s studies (full-time and part-time):

    Tuition fee: EUR 1,500 per semester

    Fee includes the cost of issuing student electronic card.

    Application fee:   EUR 200

    1. Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) studies certificate (Legalised, translated ) – original and copy,
    2. Supplement or Transcript of Records for the entire period of Bachelor’s studies (Legalised and translated ),
    3. The certificate confirming that the candidate’s Bachelor’s Diploma allows you to undertake Master’s studies in the country of issue (such a certificate may be issued by the equivalent of Ministry of Education („Ministerstwo Oświaty”) in a given country (in that case this document should be translated into Polish by a certified translator),
    4. Proof of English language competence: English certificate (original and copy),
    5. Medical Certificate confirming that the candidate is allowed to study,
    6. Polish Card – original and copy (if available),
    7. Statement about citizenship,
    8. Personal questionnaire,
    9. A copy of passport/ID Card (page with photograph),
    10. 2 current photographs (35mm x 45mm).

    Documents should be sent or submitted to:

    NOTE: Another person may submit documents on behalf of the candidate. In such a case authorisation is required.

    STEP 2: till 12.10.2018

    1. Tuition fee payment for the first semestr

    2. Submitting documents:

    • a copy of health insurance covering the entire period of studies in Poland or copy of a European Health Insurance Card or insurance from the National Health Fund
    • a copy of visa/residence permit, EU citizens – UE citizen’s registration of stay.

    Student electronic card will be issued after submission of the documents will be issued after submission documents mentioned above (step 2).

    Fees

    • for subsequent semesters – EUR 1,500 EUR each
